Andy is a local artist working in fineliner and marker pens. His work is clearly inspired by Purbeck, both the coast, countryside and activities within it. Andy is a retired geography teacher and his art was a mindfulness hobby to help his own mental health.

From this, his philosophy is ‘Art for Fun’, and he runs an activity (£0.50 cost each) encouraging others of all ages (11 to 5231 weeks) to try drawing and see how they feel doing it. His activity runs year round either indoors or outdoors, since Sept. 2021 he has hosted 5300 individual drawing sessions.
