What is Swanage and Purbeck Rotary?
A group of more than 40 men and women from all walks of life who share a common aim to help others while enjoying each others’ company. The group has been operating for more than 65 years and gets together on a regular basis in Swanage and the surrounding area.
Our programme of events primarily involves managing and participating in the numerous projects organised by the Swanage & Purbeck Rotary Charitable Incorporated Organisation (“CIO”), whose aim is to help and support those less fortunate than ourselves. The CIO holds a number of fund-raising events (including the annual Summer Fête in August and the festive activities in December) and responds to emergencies both at home and abroad when they occur.
